Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Tuesday said that Pakistan had all the potential and talent to overcome the challenges and his government was committed to steering the country towards claiming its due place among developed nations.
No country or nation can succeed without achieving economic stability and the stability is not possible if terrorists are allowed to continue with their anti-peace and anti-Pakistan agenda, Nawaz said.
He expressed these views while talking to outgoing Ambassador of Argentina Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia, who paid a farewell call on him at the Prime Minister House.
Felicitating the Argentinean ambassador on completion of 12 years stay in Pakistan, the prime minister appreciated his contribution in strengthening and further broadening the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia praised the prime minister’s courageous decision of taking the terrorists head-on, saying that the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb was the best thing happening to Pakistan.
The operation, he added, had proven to be exceedingly successful in eliminating terrorism from the country.
Appreciating the economic policies of the present government, the ambassador said that the prime minister had put the country on the right path by turning around its economy.
Pakistan’s image has been changing for the last three years and the country is now viewed quite positively by the international community, Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia added
He also appreciated the prime minister’s efforts to eliminate energy deficiency from Pakistan.
