Pakistan to get gas under TAPI project till 2019: Khaqan Abbasi

Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that TAPI gas project will substantially help meet the energy need of the country.

Speaking in a current affair programme, he said the project will produce eight thousand megawatt electricity.

The Minister said first supply of gas from the project to Pakistan will start in 2019 and surplus gas will be available for industry.

He said that TAPI project will fulfill futuristic demand of the country.
