The engine and bogie of an Allama Iqbal Express train traveling from Karachi to Sialkot were derailed near Shahdara Station.
The train was put to a halt at once after the incident which prevented the entire train from falling over. Several people were reported to be slightly injured because of the accident.
The railway track was blocked, preventing the railway transportation system as the railway authorities were not prompt to react to the incident.
