The Punjab Excise Department has seized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak’s vehicle after finding out that it was not registered.

Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Zeeshan Ranjha stated that a land cruiser was stopped for snap-checking in Defense area.

The personnel asked Khattak’s son to present registration documents of the vehicle which he failed to produce at the site. After going through online record, the officer found that the cruiser was not registered.

The Excise and Taxation Officer let Chief Minister’s son go back home. However, the vehicle was seized.

Sources said that the vehicle is non-custom paid and does not bear required documents.
