- Minister says measures have been taken to tackle challenges on war-footing
Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government will take all possible measures for bringing economic stability in the country.
Talking to media persons here on Saturday, Rashid said various challenges, including terrorism and power shortfall, were hampering national development. He said that steps were being taken to tackle these challenges on war-footing.
To a question, the minister said political parties had reservations regarding working of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). However, he assured that reforms in the NAB would be introduced with the consultations of elected leadership.
To another query regarding filing of an FIR about Indian’s Pathankot airbase attack, Rashid said a committee comprising representatives of security institutions concerned had been formed and the government had implemented its recommendations.
