A girl was injured while three other girl students fainted in Girls Degree College when an armed man stormed into it and allegedly opened firing.
According to reports, the injured girl informed the police through telephone that an armed man had barged into college and he was hiding in bathroom of the college after opening fire.
The police and rescue team responded the call and reached the spot. The police have shifted the injured student to hospital and besieged the college and started search operation.
On the other hand, CPO Azhar Akram claimed that the firing incident had taken place in college. However, he said that the student who was calling police for help was a mental patient.
