Provincial Minister for Manpower and Human Resources Ashfaq Sarwar has ordered an inquiry after the first dengue case of 2016 was reported in Rawalpindi.
While presiding a meeting in the Rawalpindi commissioner office, he directed the officials to submit the inquiry report of the case within one week besides determining the reasons behind breeding of the larva.
He further said negligence regarding dengue control will not be tolerated.
The meeting was attended by MNA Tahira Orangzaib, EDO (health) Rana Arshad Sabir, WASA Managing Director Raja Shoukat and others.
