Daesh’s Sindh Head Umar Kathiwer was arrested on Sunday.

The suspect is also said to be involved in Safoora tragedy.

According to details, global terror organisation IS or Daesh’s Sindh Head Umar Kathiwer was arrested upon the information provided by Safoora massacre’s arrested suspect Saad Aziz.

Sources revealed that Umar Kathiwer had established an organised terror network in Sindh during 2011. He is an expert at Arabic language and funds terrorists. Umar’s duties included facilitating al-Qaeda terrorists belonging to Arab countries.

Later, Umar Kathiwer joined Daesh while his wife also ran Daesh’s women wing in Sindh. More high value arrests are also expected upon the information provided by Umar Kathiwer.

DAESH IN PAKISTAN:

Militant Islamic State (IS) group (Daesh) is making efforts to establish its footing in Pakistan by recruiting local youngsters and Afghan refugees.

The terror outfit offers monthly salary of Rs 30, 000 to 50,000 and sends the recruits to Afghanistan for brainwashing.

Security agencies have arrested Amir Mansoor, an alleged commander of the organisation in Islamabad, accused of recruiting unemployed young men.

Sources said the law enforcement agencies have launched a large scale crackdown in Punjab against Daesh, arresting 18 suspects in Sargodha, eight in Okara and 12 in Gujranwala on the bases of information provided by Mansoor.

The Counter Terrorism Department also busted a Daesh linked group in Daska near Silakot a few days ago.
