PM Nawaz summons Sindh CM to Islamabad to discuss Rangers issue

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday summoned Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah to Islamabad to discuss Rangers issue.

Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi to review work on various developmental projects of Port Qasim Authority and Port Qasim Power Project. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah received the prime minister on his arrival.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Khurram Dastagir and Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif on the daylong visit.

During the visit, the Prime Minister inspected the site of Port Qasim Power Project.

The visit comes a day after political atmosphere heated up following Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari‘s accusations on the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for allegedly victimising the opposition party in the name of National Action Plan (NAP).
