In connection with Christmas Day celebrations, a Christmas Cake-cutting ceremony was arranged at Rawalpindi Arts Council in honour of Christian community.
Member Punjab Assembly Raja Muhammad Hanif Advocate flanked by Naheed Manzoor, Resident Director Waqar Ahmed and leaders from Christian Community was chief guest.
Addressing at the occasion, MPA Raja Muhammad Hanif said that we congratulate wholeheartedly our Christian brotherhood and we feel pleasure in sharing their joy and cheerfulness. He said that that Islam teaches the lesson of peace, friendship and the promotion of inter faith harmony which is dire need of the hour added that the Christian community is an important part of our society and are extending significant services in the sectors of education, health and other fields of life. Naheed Manzoor, Resident Director Waqar Ahmed also addressed and congratulated to Christian community.
At the end, a special prayer was also offered for the peace and prosperity of the country.
