Rs 70b plan devised to overcome water shortage

Minister of the State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) MNA Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that a strategy has been chalked out to resolve water shortage issue in the federal capital at the cost of Rs 70 billion.

Talking to media persons Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that under vision of PM Nawaz Sharif all available resources would be utilized for ensuring supply of clear drinking water to the citizens of Islamabad.

He said that water is basic necessity for domestic and industrial needs and no efforts would be spared to ensure its smooth supply.

The minister CADD also vowed to ensure the provision of rights to all employees of Capital Development Authority (CDA). Health policy would be introduced for CDA employees, he added.

Dr. Tariq Fazal said that 21 schools of the federal capital would be upgraded in first phase and in line with directives of PM 200 buses would be gifted for facilitating the students to reach their schools.
