The Frontier Corps in a crackdown on Ziarat rounded up five operatives of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan on Sunday.
According to details, the raid was conducted on intelligence information about the presence of TTP operatives in Aghberg area of Ziarat. Weapons and ammunition were also seized during the raid.
In another action in Mahskel area, FC personnel recovered huge cache of narcotics, including 1,650 kilogrammes of opium, 80 kg hashish and five kg heroin, from a vehicle that was flagged down near Madisar area. No arrest was reported.
Meanwhile, CIA police recovered 300 dynamites and 720 fuses form a car near Loralai on Sunday.
According to details, the driver of the vehicle managed to flee. Police officials however impounded the vehicle. Investigation is in progress.
