National Assembly Special Committee on allotment of cabins by Capital Development Authority (CDA) expressed its displeasure over the non serious and non professional attitude of the authority and postponed a meeting in protest.
The meeting of the special committee was held at the parliament house Friday under the chairmanship of Dr Ibadullah, MNA to discuss the issue of allotment or cancellation of cabins or kiosks by the CDA making thousands of people jobless.
As the required information was not provided by the CDA officials, the members took serious notice of the casual attitude of the authority.
In protest, the committee called off the meeting with the direction that the Minister of State for CA&DD and Chairman CDA should ensure their presence in the next meeting on 9 December.
The meeting was attended by Ms Farhana Qamar, Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub,Mr Abdul Rashid Godil and Mian Abdul Mannan, MNAs.
