Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Information Technology in collaboration with the World Bank and Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Corporation organize a two day ‘ArtTech’ festival here on Saturday to promote art and culture of the Province through information technology (IT).
Talking to APP organizer Muhammad Uzair of Peshawar 2.0 said that the two days event is an opportunity to promote indigenous culture and art of the province through the effective use of IT.
He said the festival is a showcase of the basic creative and innovative skills of KP youth to enable them to find opportunities of employment and self-employment in the local and international job markets.
He further said that it is a stepping stone in raising awareness and building a community of KP youths interested in art and technology.
About 20 stalls including food stall, cultural stall, art stalls, music and technical workshop were arranged in the festival.
A medical student of Khyber Medical University Danish Akhtar Khattak set up a stall by displaying his artistic work, pictures of Spider Man.
Others students from Information Technology University Lahore, Zarmeena Tanveer, Ali Hassan Raza and Shahab Shahid who were made a teaching tree for children learning. They said that they will promote their skills more and will play a vital role for the development of country.
