Lahore factory collapse toll mounts to 46

More bodies of the victims of the Sundar Industrial Factory tragedy were recovered on Saturday, raising the death toll to 46.
The body of factory owner Rana Ashraf was also recovered along with scores of bodies of workers on Saturday. Rescue operations are still underway and heavy machinery is being used to remove the debris and cut strong pillars. More than 100 workers have been recovered alive by rescue officials. Three days have passed since the tragedy struck Lahore.
Talking to the media, District Coordination Officer Lahore Muhammad Usman confirmed 37 deaths. He said 12 to 15 persons are still trapped under the rubble of the factory building. The DCO said labourers were busy in construction work on the top floor of the factory at the time of the incident.
