With death of another dengue patient at Holy Family Hospital on Saturday, the death toll in Rawalpindi has moved to double figures now.
The toll of infected patients has reached 2700 since the beginning of this year.
According to the hospital officials, 150 people have been diagnosed with dengue within the last 24 hours.
Due to the rising number of patients, beds and paramedical staff have fallen short. Patients admitted in hospitals include a large number of children and women.
