A robber was killed in a police encounter within the Race Course Police Station’s jurisdiction.
Javed, a resident of Dhok Chaudhrian, informed police on helpline that three armed robbers broke into his house and were busy plundering the valuables. Police responded to the call and reached the location. The robbers allegedly opened fire on them. The police retaliated by firing back and killing one of the robbers as two of his accomplices fled the scene. The body was sent to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a case and started the investigation.
