Intelligence agencies on Monday arrested five suspected terrorists during operation in two different areas of Lahore.
According to details, the first raid took place in a village near Thokar Niaz Baig area where two terrorists belonging to a banned organisation were apprehended. The suspects were identified as Khalid Mehmood and Amanullah.
According to sources, two kilograms of explosives were recovered from their possession.
Both were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
In the second raid in Raiwind, three al-Qaeda suspects namely Tariq Aziz, Abdul Ghafar and Hamid Ali were arrested. Weapons and some important documents were seized during the action.
