Well, apparently Bollywood superstar Salman Khan does not comprehend the brouhaha concerning his remuneration and he rightly feels that his pay should not concern anyone else other than him!
“I have no interest in your salary then why do you have interest in my salary,” Salman responded during a group interaction with the media in India.
The Bollywood actor was listed as one of the richest actors in the Forbes list and has a record of delivering blockbuster after blockbuster along with skyrocketing TRP’s on television. Salman is slated to host the ever-popular reality show Bigg Boss 9 for the sixth time and has been regularly interacting with the media.
The reality show’s theme this year is ‘Double Trouble’, so when he was asked if his pay cheque doubled as well, the 49-year old Sallu quipped, “Anyway even if my salary increases, it doesn’t stay with me. It goes into Being Human. So, it is used for a good cause,”
Salman Khan runs the Being Human Foundation, which supports underprivileged people in India. He started it in 2007 in partnership with various companies and the foundation takes initiatives in the field of education and healthcare.
The actor is also awaiting the release of two big-ticket films- Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Sultan.
