Four people, including two women and a minor, were killed when a speeding train hit a motorcycle-rickshaw in Ferozewala area on Sunday.
According to details, Tahir Mehmood was going to his village with his wife Zahida, son of Ubaid, and mother-in-law in a rickshaw when the train going to Lahore from Rawalpindi hit the vehicle. They all died on the spot.
Witnesses said the mishap occurred as the gate was open and railway officials were not present on duty to close it.
