The Founder Group has won the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI)elections unopposed for the year 2015-16.
Nasir Khan was the Chief Election Commissioner while M/s. Abdul Ghaffar Chaudhry and Muhammad Hussain were members of Election Commission.
Atif Ikram has been elected as the President, Sheikh Pervez Ahmed Senior Vice President and Sheikh Abdul Waheed as Vice President of ICCI for the year 2015-16. They will take charge on October 1, 2015.
Speaking at the occasion, Founder Group Chairman, Mr. Abdul Rauf, congratulated the new office bearers and executive members of the ICCI on their unopposed elections and said that all decisions in the Founder Group are taken on merit. He said that the Founder Group has always tried to select the best talent for ICCI elections to promote the interests of trade and industry and hoped that the new team would make utmost efforts to serve the cause of the business community.
ICCI President Muzzamil Hussain Sabri, Senior Vice President M. Shakeel Munir and Vice President M. Ashfaq Hussain Chatha also felicitated the new team on its unopposed election and stressed upon the need for providing the best services to the business community. They also assured that their assistance and guidance would be available to the new team as and when required.
The newly elected members of the ICCI thanked the chairman and members of Founder Group as well as all the members of ICCI for posing confidence in them and electing them unopposed as Office Bearers of ICCI. They said they would try to perform up to the expectations of the stakeholders and use this platform to promote the interests of business community.
Founder Group members, ICCI former presidents, former senior vice presidents, former vice presidents, former executive members and members of ICCI also congratulated the newly elected office bearers and executive members and expressed best wishes for their success.
