NAB arrests three for cheating public at large

NAB Lahore has arrested three accused persons namely Saeed Ashraf, Qayyum Safdar and Asif Mehmoom in a case of cheating public at large worth Rs. 29.3 million.

The accused persons have deprived general public of their hard earned money by luring them to invest with them in their LCDs import business  in return of promises of exorbitant profits. The cheques issued by the accused persons to the investors as security at the time of investment were also dishonored subsequently. So far NAB Lahore has received more than 20 complaints against these accused persons for cheating the general public.

Accused have been produced before Accountability Court Lahore. The Accountability Court Lahore has granted physical remand of 14 days of each accused into NAB custody.
