Sindh’s Provincial Home Department issued a notification on Monday imposing Section 144 in Karachi division which bans display of weapons in the city.
The current imposition of Section 144 is for 90 days and comes into immediate effect.
The ban restricts open display of arms, private vehicles having resemblance with vehicles of police and other law enforcement agencies, private vehicles with tinted glasses, private vehicles with mounted police lights or sirens and fancy number plates.
