HARIPUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Monday that the election in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Haripur district is a contest between two ideologies: “outworn thinking” and progressive, according to local media sources.

“This is in fact a contest between outworn thinking and acting as a catalyst for change by empowering the downtrodden in the country,” he said in his remarks while addressing the second election meeting of his party’s candidate Dr Raja Amir Zaman in the August 16 by-election, in Panian, the native village of Reham Khan’s mother, reportedly.

The PTI chief said that he is struggling to bring about a positive change in the governing system of the country, recalling that his party had already proved itself by depoliticising police, reforming revenue, education and accountability system in K-P, authorities further added.
