PPP to hold public rallies in Punjab

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to confront its political opponents by holding of mass rallies and announced the schedule of meetings under mass public contact campaign in Punjab on Monday.
The decision was taken during the executive committee meeting of PPP Punjab held in the Governor’s House in Lahore, which was presided over by Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
According to details, the first public rally will be held in Sargodha on January 21, while PPP will later arrange meetings in Attock, Kasur and Faisalabad.
The executive committee meeting also decided to hold main function of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s birthday at the Governor’s House, Lahore.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister, on the occasion, also approved the construction of a labor hall in Islamabad.
