The police on Friday claims to have arrested five alleged facilitators of the terrorists who attacked two churches in Lahore in March this year.

At least 15 people were killed and more than 70 injured when two suicide bombers attacked churches in Lahore’s Youhanabad in March, sparking mob violence in which two people died.

As per reports, police have arrested five suspects of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claiming that they were involved in facilitating the suicide attackers.

“The arrested suspects are being interrogated at an undisclosed location,” a source said.

Yesterday, Punjab Home Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada, told journalists that culprits of Youhanabad incident had been traced and their links with the TTP had been established.

He said the TTP has connections with Indian Intelligence Agency, RAW. The minister said details would be provided to the media soon.
