Eyewitnesses on Saturday identified Asif Ali as the murderer of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Waqas Shah during a Rangers raid at the party headquarters on March 11.
Two witnesses of the incident identified Asif Ali as the culprit in front of a judicial magistrate. The accused will now be presented in an anti-terrorism court as the time period of his physical remand has expired.
Waqas Shah, 25, was shot dead during a protest against the Rangers raid at Nine-Zero on March 11. Asif Ali killed Shah and then tried to blame the Rangers, according to a Rangers press release issued on June 25.
