Pak officials hand over vital MQM info to British police: report

A special team of the Interior Ministry probing the Dr Imran Farooq murder case on Saturday met Scotland Yard officials in London to discuss the progress in the investigation, Dunya News reported.

According to the channel, the Pakistani team led by Senior Superintendant of Police (SSP) Islamabad Sajid Kayani handed over evidence and vital information regarding detained suspects in Pakistan to the British investigators.

The channel claimed that the Pakistani officials had also shared crucial evidence with the British authorities regarding the money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain who has to appear before the court in the coming week.
