LAHORE:

A Lahore court granted bail to Imran Khan’s nephews on Thursday (today), a day after an FIR was registered against them at the Lahore Racecourse Police Station, according to local media sources.

The accused Azeem and Abdullah had been arrested after they allegedly abused, assaulted and threatened a traffic warden, who had allegedly stopped them from violating traffic rules.

Duty Police Officer (DPO) said that an FIR was launched because they had misbehaved with a traffic warden by the name of ‘Shakeel’, who had stopped them for not wearing seatbelts while driving at Canal Road in Lahore.

He said that the complainant, warden Shakeel, alleged that despite wearing seatbelt on his request, Azeem and Abdulllah started misbehaving with him, abused him and later manhandled him as well.
