Notices have been issued to 12 private schools for receiving three months lump sum fee from students with respect to the summer vacation period.

These notices have been issued in light of the directives of Punjab government. These schools may face the penalty of cancellation of their registration if they don’t refrain from charging the lump sum fee for three months.

On receipt of complaints, district executive education officer Rawalpindi has issued notices to 12 educational institutions including Asif Public School Satellite Town, Siddique Public school, Ozone Public School, Spring Field and others. They have been warned against charging a lump sum fee.

On the other hand the private educational institutions have hammered out a new strategy for recovering lump sum fee under which they are providing separate vouchers against every one month’s fee  to the parents.

Government has asked the citizens to lodge their complaints against the practice on the following telephone numbers: 051-5532287 and 03215243249.
