MQM’s Amir Khan sent to jail on 13-day judicial remand

An anti-terrorism court in Karachi sent MQM leader Amir Khan on judicial remand for 13 days on Friday.

The accused was presented before the anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday by Rangers.

In the meantime, the allegations imposed on the MQM leader Amir were to provide support criminals elements, while he was arrested from Nine Zero MQM secretariat in raid carried out by Rangers.

The MQM leader’s lawyer plead at the proceedings that the accused has been a regular tax-payer and completed a Master Degree in Political science, so that he should be shifted to a B class cell in the lockup.

Subsequent to plead, anti terrorism court in Karachi ordered to move Amir Khan into B-class Jail in prison.

During the proceedings, Farasat and Kamran were also presented before the before the ATC court alongside Amir Khan, both alleged were given in the custody of Police for 8 days remand.

It should be kept in mind that both the alleged confessed of being involved in several assailants and criminal activities carried out in the city during the custody in Ranger for 90 days time period.
