Former Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) president Javed Hashmi on Saturday announced support for the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) candidate in Multan’s PP-196 by-election.
Announcing his support for the PML-N candidate before media, Javed Hashmi said that PTI has no political program and the party leaders looked confounded during Friday public meeting. “PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi urged people to vote for Tiger (PML-N’s symbol) by mistake during his speech”, added Hashmi.
Hashmi said that PTI should have agreed on the judicial commission when it was offered guarantee by the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif. “They have not yet been able to bring even a single proof of rigging,” he said.
Former PTI and PML-N stalwart from Multan said that instead of ending the ‘kingdom’, Imran Khan is giving birth to emperorship in Pakistan.
