Pakistan Army gunship helicopters and fighter jets pounded 11 militant hideouts in North Waziristan, killing at least 30 terrorists.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), nine cars and several motorcycles belonging to terrorists were also destroyed.
At least 18 suspected militants were killed earlier today and seven hideouts destroyed airstrikes carried out by fighter jets.
Five strikes were carried out in the Kokikhel area of Tirah Valley in Khyber and seven strikes were carried out in the North Waziristan tribal area.
The claims could not be independently verified as journalists have limited access to the restive tribal agency.
