Federal Information Minister Pervez Rashid on Monday asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan what proof the PTI had collected after all these months if all the evidence of election rigging was present inside the ballot bags.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader was responding to statements made by the PTI chair after today’s session of the judicial commission probing alleged rigging in the 2013 polls.
“People are dying in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but what is Imran Khan doing in Islamabad? Where has the KP chief minister disappeared off to?” he asked, lambasting the rival party over the recent deaths from torrential rains in KP province.
“Imran Khan has lost the faith that people had in him by lying to them over and over again. What were you collecting all these months if all evidence lies inside the ballot bags?” he said.
Criticising the PTI chair, he said that Imran Khan should stop misleading the people. He claimed that Imran earlier faced embarrassment after examination of ballot bags in NA-122.
