The National Assembly Secretariat has finalised paperwork for payment of salaries to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers who returned to parliament after boycott of nearly seven months.

According to sources, total payment is estimated to be around Rs 12.636 million and each member will get Rs 469,000.

PTI legislators returned to parliament earlier this week after a boycott  of over seven months as the government accepted Imran Khan`s demand of a judicial commission to probe alleged rigging in the 2013 general election.

The party had boycotted parliament and occupied part of the capital during months-long street protests last year over alleged election rigging.
