  1. The Govt. has got to give the public more information.

    1) Is the conflict in Yemen a local one—between an elected Govt. and insurgents?
    2) Which is the elected Govt.and who has asked SA to interfere.
    3) If it is a war between two nations why is the UN not involved
    4) We all know that Arab league and similar organizations are paper tigers capable of doing nothing and hence an military appeal to Pakistan. I would have thought the combined military forces of Gulf states could have restored order .

    5) While one acknowledges Pakistan's has "special" relationship with SA one has to answer the question—is SA under attack? If so Pakistan has a history of helping out SA. This was the case in the first Gulf War.
Personal relationships have no role in international relationships. Let us not paint the conflict in sectarion terms. Enough death and destruction has allready taken place using such terms.

  2. Neutrality in the Middle East means also severe consequences for Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Mediation means differentiation between wrong and right and helping to bridge the gap for peace. At this moment neither Iran nor SA are after right or wrong. We are just after securing own interests Yemen consequences n is not only neighbor but also special historical relations with Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Any insecurity in Yemen shall have severe for Saudi Arabia. It's better for Iran not give its support to Houthi just because they are Zaidis.

Pakistan should try to solve the conflict with peaceful means and that mean viable solution of Yemen otherwise It would be impossible for us to be neutral. We have to support Saudi Arabia as they have alway done for us at the time of difficulties.
