The Sindh police will take assistance of drone cameras to arrest criminals from Katcha areas along the Indus river.
In a bid to eliminate dacoits operating in river forests along the Indus, Sukkur police will use drone cameras. SSP Sukkur Police Tanveer Tunio has expressed hope that use of drones would be effective to trace the hideouts and arrest the criminals easily.
“GPS Drones will provide accurate location of the target helping police to arrest the criminals,” he added.
The SSP further said that police were determined to use drone cameras in targeted operations against dacoits, especially in Katcha areas. The police chief said that he had sent policemen to Karachi for training to operate the drone cameras.
Furthermore, Sukkur police have also prepared a special vehicle for the protection of drones. It will be used by the experts for controlling and monitoring the drones.
