Pir Masood Chishti Advocate has been elected as the president of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) on Saturday.
According to unofficial results, Pir Masood Chishti secured 4,050 votes against his rival candidate Shahid Maqbool Sheikh who obtained 3,118 votes.
Ahmad Qayyum has been elected general secretary, Irfan Sheikh vice president while Syed Akhtar Hussain Sherazi has been elected secretary finance of the LHCBA.
As many as 7,170 votes out of the total 19,600 registered votes were polled in the LHCBA election which was held on biometric voting system while 1,500 votes were allowed to be cast manually.
