Sindh Minister for Information and Local Bodies Sharjeel Memon on Monday wielded a broom and cleaned the roads to inaugurate the ‘Clean, Green, and Peaceful Sindh’ campaign.
The campaign was initiated at Pakistan Chowk, where Sharjeel Memon himself cleaned the road and advised others to do the same.
Talking to the media, he warned that it was either him or ghost employees that would stay in office. He further added that the funds released to the district municipal corporations (DMCs) will be monitored and the ‘Clean, Green, and Peaceful Sindh’ drive would continue throughout the year.
