Deputy Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly (BA), Abdul Qudus Bizenjo Friday resigned from his post due to reservations with the provincial government.
Abdul Qudus Bizenjo accused Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch of interfering in his constituency. He also said that the assembly speaker is not ready to delegate due powers to him.
“I do not want to hold the office being a figurehead,” said a disgruntled Bizenjo.
The deputy speaker has forwarded his resignation to Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, who is the parliamentary leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) in Balochistan.
