The Sindh home department has imposed complete ban on pillion riding of motorcycle/scooter under Section 144(6) CrPC for a period of two days from 12 to 13 December in Karachi division.
The ban shall not be applicable on women, children below the age of 12 years, senior citizens, journalists, personnel of law enforcement agencies, security agencies in uniform and employees of essential services.
Meanwhile, the Sindh home department also declared the premises of four degree colleges, presently being used as examination centers, prohibited for public entry in general.
Officials on Wednesday said that candidates bearing valid admit cards and the staff on duty, with due identification, would be allowed entry to the designated centres including Government Degree Girls College Dadu, Government UB Degree College Dadu, Government Degree College Mehar and Government Degree College KN Shah.
Moreover, shops with photostat facilities on the premises as well as around these colleges would also remain closed during the examination hours.
