MITHI-
Five more children passed away due to malnutrition in drought-hit Tharparkar, private media reported.
Annual death toll has soared to the high figure of 500 while merciless conditions continue to prevail.
The region of Tharparkar is facing harsh conditions of drought for the past few months. Provincial government is under sever criticism for mishandling the issue.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has issued the directions to form a two-member probing commission to look into the matter of deaths in drought-hit region.
Previously, Sindh High Court, during the hearing of a suo motu case, advised the government to take serious measures to mitigate the disaster.
Sad, but not one civil society member has raised their voice till today…even Ms Asma who calls herself a champion of HR…where are you ? You all will be answerable to Allah swt for this crime to humanity…insha Allah.
God bless the child that suffers. This situation is alarming and it hasn't occurred first time. Where is a so-called pro-active approach of PM? Go to hell NS and IK.
