LDA to take development to a whole new level

*Kasur Bypass project to be completed at a cost of Rs 1.5 billion in four months

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has extended its development activities to the adjoining districts of Lahore and kicked off construction of Kasur Bypass project which will be completed at a cost of Rs 1.5 billion within four months.

The 9.5 kilometres long two-lane dual carriage way will link Ferozepur Road at Sadar Dewan to Depalpur Road at Faqir Wali in district Kasur.

Central median of the road will be 10 feet wide and will accommodate state of the art arboriculture work and LED street lights. Roundabouts will be constructed along the road for self regulating of traffic. Massive tree plantation will also be carried out at outer corridors in a width of 20 feet on either side of the road.

The project will result in enormous fuel cost and time saving and thousands of vehicles will benefit after its completion.
