Weather alert: Tsunami forecast in Gujranwala today

*Four ambulances, eight doctors and other paramedical staff to stand alert outside the gates of the stadium till the rally concludes.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) tsunami is all set to hit at Jinnah Stadium Gujranwala today.

More than 20,000 chairs have been arranged at the stadium and according to the organisers of the rally, the stadium can accommodate 40,000 people whereas eight enclosures of the stadium also have the capacity to accommodate 20,000 people.

Total three stages would be prepared, one for PTI Chairman Imran Khan and the central leadership, second for the district leaders and the third stage would be reserved for media.

The venue has eight entrances. Only Imran Khan’s car would enter from the Pavilion gate, one gate would be reserved for media, two for women and four gates for all other participants.

According to the officials, 24 CCTV cameras have been installed at exit and entrance gates of the stadium whereas two control rooms have also been established to monitor the rally.

As per District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital sources, the hospital administration has suspended the holidays of the doctors in the wake of any untoward incident.

Four ambulances with eight doctors and other paramedical staff would stay reserved outside the gates of the stadium till the rally concludes. Moreover, blood bank has been stocked with adequate amount of blood and medicines.

Avid participants have already gathered at the venue chanting party slogans and dancing on the party anthems.
