Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan for eradication of terrorism were not acknowledged globally.

“We want peace in the country. We gave immense sacrifices for stamping out terrorism from our soil,” said the minister while talking to UK’s special representative on anti-terrorism Clovis Meath Baker and British High Commissioner Philip Barton.

Khan said peace restoration in the country was the government’s utmost priority.

Regional security and matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. Clovis Meath Baker praised sacrifices made by Pakistan and assured assistance in war against terror, in any way possible.
