The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) on Sunday announced that a training programme for editors and senior journalists will start from today (Monday) in Karachi pertaining to awareness and reporting about management, complexities and issues emerging in view of transfer of powers and discharging of responsibilities between the federal and provincial governments after the passage of 18th Amendment in the Constitution of Pakistan.
This training program is being organized by CPNE in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in all provincial capitals of Pakistan. In first phase, the training program will be started on 17 November at 10 am at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.
Senior Provincial Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, noted parliamentarian Senator Raza Rabbani, renowned lawyer Akthar Hussain advocate, Secretary General CPNE Dr Jabbar Khattak and others exports will address the participants of the training program in detail about issues pertaining to administrative powers between the federal and provincial governments in view of the Constitution.
