As many as three people died and two others turned blind after consuming poisonous liquor in Tandojam and its surrounding area on Monday.
Three people, Imtiaz Garai, 43, resident of Mithan Garai; Nazakat Ali, 35; and Mevo Bheel, 30, resident of Ghulam Hussain Khatyan died of consuming poisonous liquor.
Two people Gond Kolhi and Mumtaz turned blind after consuming poisonous liquor. They were shifted to a local hospital for treatment where their condition was said to be critical.
