Gullu produced before ATC, does not want fame

Gullu Butt, known for vandalizing cars in the presence of police personnel during Model Town Incident was presented in an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday, a private news channel reported.

ATC Judge Justice Rai Ayub  headed the hearing during which three police officers recorded their statements as witnesses to the Butt’s act.

The hearing was adjourned till October 18.

Total witnesses of the event are reported to be 12 policemen, including a sub-inpector. Six of the 12 witnesses have recorded their statements till now.

Police officers have accused  Butt of opening fire at the police and vandalizing cars.

Speaking to the media after the hearing, Butt said that he does not want the popularity and fame he is receiving as such fame is tarnishing Pakistan’s image.
