In illegal appointments at Islamabad High Court (IHC) case, the Supreme Court (SC) has issued notices to all those who were appointed in the court.

A three-member SC bench presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk Thursday heard the petition challenging the appointments made in IHC, allegedly made through favouritism.

The petitioner requested the court to declare these appointments illegal and issue orders for making appointments afresh as per law.

The CJP while adjourning the hearing of the case indefinitely has remarked this will be decided later if the petition is maintainable or otherwise.

The hearing of the case was adjourned indefinitely.
