NA body lauds Safe City Project

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reform has appreciated the Islamabad Safe City project.

A meeting of the committee held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, called for a timely completion of the project.

The committee expressed displeasure over delays in the execution of Kachi Canal project in Balochistan and gave directions for its early completion.

The Committee also expressed dissatisfaction over the passive attitude of Sindh Government over the Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme. The Federal Government has already released only 50 per cent cost of the project.
